The Build

ASIS RIB’s have been designed through years of on water research and development along some of the most treacherous coast lines and sea conditions in the world.  ASIS manufactures the full range of RIB’s for commercial, military and leisure use.

The ASIS RIB features a deep V hull that has been reinforced with Kevlar brand fibres together with a fully reinforced deck to allow for screwing or bolting down extra equipment or seating. The deck is also non-slip moulded with wet deck draining design. ASIS offers a wide range of optional extras allowing each customer to custom build to their own specification.

What makes the ASIS range unique is the inflatable collar within the hull which adds increased buoyancy and stability.  The collar acts as a shock absorber ensuring that the boats are not only amongst the most stable on the water but are also extremely safe and stable. 

In addition, the collar is made from Hypalon rather than uPVC. Traditionally, uPVC has suffered from UV and ozone damage causing discolouration and thus affecting the resale value. Hypalon is immensely strong, wear resistant, waterproof, air tight, immune to the hazards of sunlight, ozone, fuel, oil, acids and contaminants. Altogether, Hypalon tubes have a longer life span and improved resale value.
